I am an international dressage rider using science to aid my performance and am based near Wroxham, Norfolk.

I worked abroad as a rider and in various different yards in the UK before setting up my own business as a rider/ trainer in October 2020. I have never bought a horse over 6 years old or above novice level and have trained my own horses from Novice to international level myself.

R I D I N G:

I currently have the opportunity for one Dressage horse to join my team. Where he/she will be kept at my beautiful home in Norfolk, with a 20x60 arena, safe hacking, and the very best of care with my mum an equine vet living on the same property.

MY APPROACH:

I have been brought up with an Equine Vet as a Mum,

so everything I do is with the horse's welfare as my top

priority. I love taking the scientific approach and not

conforming to commonly known myths and old wives' tales!

I do appreciate that every horse and human alike is not a statistic but instead an individual, needing a tailored plan.

I believe dressage  increasingly needs to be treated like other sports using a modern, scientific approach where all aspects are covered and I aim to encourage riders to look after their own bodies as well as that of their horses.

I aspire to continue to compete at an international level and progress further up the levels. My ultimate goal is to get to the Olympics using scientific and welfare based techniques to aid the process and the longevity of my team. Alongside this, I would love to help others to find their full potential as well as that of  their horses inside the dressage arena.

FUTURE GOALS:

Experience

When I was 16 I moved abroad to work in a busy dressage yard located in Aarhus, Denmark. I worked for as a rider/goom for the Hoffmans and gained lots of experience handling and riding a variety of horses. After finishing my A-levels, I spent August 2020 working for my trainer Malcolm Holthausen at his yard in Newmarket. Between times, over the last four years I have spent a few weeks on various dressage yards across the UK gaining experience in my school holidays. I have ridden for owners and helped to train both my own horses and their horses up the levels in dressage.
